Quick & Easy Setup

Connect the spars, attach the lines, clip the handles. Clear illustrated instructions included. Most people are flying within 5–10 minutes the first time.

Built for you

Built for people who already love wind, speed & the outdoors.

You don’t need to be a kiter. You just need to spend time outside. This fits.

🚵

Mountain bikers

You know what it’s like when your ride clicks. This is that feeling — different terrain, same flow state. Fly it in fields or on beaches. Anywhere there’s wind and wide-open space.

Dinghy sailors

You understand power in a sail. The pull at gust? You’ll recognise it immediately. Except there’s no boat to capsize this time.

🪁

Kiters & outdoor enthusiasts

You’ve seen cheap kites wobble and crash. This kite flies in winds that fold the competition. This is what properly built feels like. People stop and watch every time.

The collector mechanic

One kite is brilliant.
Two kites is a different sport entirely.

These kites are engineered to stack. Connect them in series and the pull doubles. Experienced pilots run two, three or even six in lighter winds.

“Start with one. Stack it with other colourways. That’s the whole game.”

Trusted by record-breakers. Made for everyone.

BBC One ident featuring Flexifoil kites

Flexifoil kites were filmed for a BBC One ident specifically because the kite in flight was too striking not to use. That’s not paid advertising. That’s a kite that earns its place on national television.

Sir Richard Branson with Guinness World Record certificates

Sir Richard Branson and his family set three kiting world records using Flexifoil kites. Three records. One weekend. The Flexifoil name is visible throughout the press backdrop.

120mph
193kph
The younger brother of the world's fastest kite design The Flexifoil Stacker 6 is part of the design lineage that holds the kite speed record at 120mph / 193kph. Built on the same architecture as the world's fastest kite — the Super 10. You're not buying a toy. You're buying into the fastest kite design lineage ever built — tuned for everyday flying.
Flexifoil has been building power kites in the UK since 1972. The Stacker 6 is the original expression of that lineage — the 6ft design that competition pilots chose, that shares its DNA with the world's fastest kite, and that has been refined with every production run for over fifty years. Not a beginner's toy. But designed so a complete beginner flies confidently in their very first session.

What people say.

★★★★★

“I was really excited to see Flexifoil International re-launch the full range and sizes of their iconic Stacker Series kites. I've been equally excited when my new kites arrived and I have been impressed with the fabrics used, the quality of construction, and the print capability. Importantly, the flight capability and fun factor of the new range is excellent! FULLY RECOMMENDED!”

Guy R., UK

★★★★★

“I didn't expect kite flying to be this fun, but this foil kite really surprised me. It's intuitive to control, the quality feels really solid, not flimsy or cheap. I'd definitely recommend giving it a go. Plus, the money-back guarantee makes it feel like there's nothing to lose.”

Jon P., USA

★★★★★

“I've been having a great time flying this kite at the beach. I was getting the hang of it within about 15 minutes. I definitely crashed it while learning, but it held up perfectly, no damage at all. It's a really fun, well-made kite. Even my neighbour ended up buying one after flying mine!”

John V., UK

When stacking becomes something else entirely

293 kites.
One stack.
They disappeared
into the sky.

In 1994, on the beach at Le Touquet, France, a team launched a stack of 293 Flexifoil Stacker kites — the kite you're looking at today. The first 10 kites went up. Then the next 10. The power of those already flying pulled the rest into the air. The stack climbed until the kites were barely visible against the clouds — a thread of colour dissolving into the grey French sky.

The pull was so immense that industrial heavy machinery was brought in as anchors. Custom pulleys. Tension rigs built for the occasion. The tide was coming in fast. This is what the Stacker kite becomes when you let it stack.

POWER COMPARISON

1 × Super 10 = 3 × Stacker 6

1 × Pro-Team 8 = 2 × Stacker 6

2 × Super 10 = 3 × Pro-Team 8

You can stack a mix of Stacker 6s, Pro-Team 8s and Super 10s. Always place larger kites at the top of the stack and use the line strength for the largest kite size in your stack.

How to Stack +
  1. Start with one kite flying solo
  2. Add a second kite using stacking lines — clip to the leading edge, launch, and feel the pull double
  3. Build your stack — 2, 3 or 6. Always add one kite at a time. If it feels too powerful, reduce the stack
  4. Experience the speed, sound and lift of true aerial performance

Stacking lines and upgraded line sets are available in our store.

Setup Instructions +

Full illustrated instructions are included via a QR code printed on the bag and replicated on the kite itself. Scan to download a clear PDF guide. Most people complete first-time setup in 5–10 minutes.

Questions people ask before they buy.

How long does it take to set up? +
Most people are flying within 5–10 minutes of opening the bag for the first time — and faster every time after that. Connect the spars, unwind and attach the flying lines to the kite and padded wrist-straps, and you’re ready. A clear illustrated instruction guide is downloadable from a QR code printed on the bag. It’s genuinely straightforward — a complete beginner was flying solo within ten minutes.
What does the setup actually involve? +
Three simple steps, done once per session:
  • Connect the spars — the rigid rods that give the kite its shape. They slot together and slide into the kite. About 60 seconds.
  • Unwind and attach the flying lines — pre-measured, attach to the kite as per the instructions. About 90 seconds.
  • Attach the handles — your padded wrist-straps clip to the ends of the flying lines.
After your first session you’ll have it set up in under 10 minutes.
I’ve never flown a power kite. Is this for me? +
Yes — if you’re comfortable outdoors. These kites are designed so a complete beginner can learn the basics in a single session. Start in light wind, get a feel for the pull and steering, build from there. Most first-timers are flying confidently within 20–30 minutes of their first launch.
What age should I be to fly this power kite? +
Suitable for ages 12 and above. Younger flyers should always be supervised by an adult. Always take extra caution when stacking — the pull compounds significantly with each kite added. Always start in lighter winds and build up gradually.
Is this suitable as a first power kite? +
If this is your very first power kite, we recommend starting in lighter winds (Beaufort 2–3) to get comfortable with the pull before progressing. All our kites come with the same Lifetime Money-Back Guarantee.
What wind conditions do I need? +
Beaufort 3–4 is ideal — roughly 8–18mph, or enough to feel it on your face and see leaves moving. If you’re new to power kiting, start at the lighter end while you get used to the pull. This power kite flies in conditions that fold most other kites, so you’ll rarely have a day where there’s enough wind but not too much.
What exactly is the Lifetime Money-Back Guarantee? +
Exactly what it says. Fly it. If you don’t love it — for any reason, at any point — send it back and we’ll refund you in full. No time limit. No questions asked. We’ve offered this guarantee for years because our return rate is extremely low. People fly these kites and keep them.
Can I really stack multiple kites for more power? +
Yes — and it’s extraordinary. Flexifoil pioneered kite stacking. Connect kites in series using stacking lines and the pull compounds with each one added. Experienced pilots run two, three or even six in lighter winds. You don’t need to stack to enjoy the kite — one is brilliant on its own — but the option is always there.
Can I buy spare or upgraded flying lines? +
Yes — spare lines, stacking lines, and upgraded line sets are all available in our store. If you plan to stack three or more kites you will need to upgrade your lines. Visit our accessories collection for options.
How long until it arrives? +
Each kite is cut and sewn individually by hand in the UK, produced to order. We aim to dispatch within approximately 10 working days from the date of order. Free worldwide delivery is included on every order. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location from the UK.
