The Hyper 12 is an expert-level kite. Always place the Hyper 12 at the top of any mixed stack and use the Hyper 12 line strength specification for the entire stack. Never stack without first flying solo in lighter winds and building up gradually.
How to Stack
- Start with one Hyper 12 flying solo — always in lighter winds first
- Add a second kite using stacking lines — clip to the leading edge, launch, and feel the pull. The Hyper 12 in a stack generates extreme force. Be prepared.
- Build your stack one kite at a time. If it feels too powerful at any point, reduce the stack immediately

What does the setup actually involve?
- Connect the spars — the rigid rods that give the kite its shape. They slot together and slide into the kite. About 60 seconds.
- Unwind and attach the flying lines — pre-measured, attach to the kite as per the instructions. About 90 seconds.
- Attach the handles — your padded wrist-straps clip to the ends of the flying lines.
