2-LINES VS. 4-LINES
The main two lines on any power kite are used for steering. If you pull the left line, the power kite goes left. If you pull the right line, the power kite goes right.
On four-line power kites like the Flexifoil Sting for example, there are two additional lines that are attached to the trailing edge (rear) of the kite. These are the brake lines. The brake lines are used for reducing the amount of power. Since this Big Buzz kite measures 1.6m² with a wing span of 2.05m, it does not require brake lines. Brake lines exist on larger power kites where the power sometimes needs to be controlled in stronger winds.
As a side note, the lines won't tangle easily so please don't be put off by any number of lines.
