What Is Wave 1?

Every kite in this collection is part of our first production wave. If a kite reaches 200 reservations by 31 August 2025, it will enter production.

If a kite doesn’t reach the minimum by the deadline, your deposit will be fully refunded — no fuss, guaranteed.

Miss Wave 1 and you may have to wait until a future run — so now’s the time to secure your preferred design.

Key Dates

🟡 14 July 2025 — Early Production Priority

Designs with the most reservations by this date will be first in line when production begins. (Note: production setup begins 1 September — not earlier.)

🟢 31 August 2025 — Final Reservation Deadline

All Wave 1 reservations close. Production setup begins 1 September 2025.

What Is KiteStarter?

KiteStarter is how we bring back these iconic Flexifoil kites — by asking the community, not guessing what will sell.

With just a 25% deposit, you help bring your preferred kite into production.

• Every size and colour must reach 200 reservations

• If your design doesn’t reach the target by 31 August, you get a full refund

• If it does, production begins in September 2025

What Happens After You Reserve?

If your kite reaches 200 reservations by the deadline:

1. We begin production setup

2. Manufacture the kites

3. Complete quality control

4. Ship to our closest distribution centre

5. Final delivery to you

Estimated Delivery

We aim to deliver as quickly as possible. To manage expectations, the maximum delivery timeframe is 12 weeks from when your kite enters production. We anticipate production will begin in early September 2025.

While we strive for timely delivery, delays (e.g. shipping or supply chain) can happen. If they do, you’ll find updates in the orange bar at the top of each product page.

When Do I Pay the Remaining Balance?

You’ll receive a payment link for the final 75% balance within 72 hours of dispatch.

Changed Your Mind?

Cancel any time before your kite hits 200 reservations — we’ll refund your deposit in full.

After a design reaches 200 reservations, the 25% deposit becomes non-refundable.
